Exam Centres

COLLS is a virtual on line learning environment facilitating the preparation of students for the General Certificate of Education (UK curriculum). We are not accredited or endorsed to prepare students for any specific examinations, nor are we an examination center. 

AQA, Edexcel, OCR and Cambridge International Examinations (CIE) are all popular choices for many students and there are many exam venues/centres where private candidates can sit these exams in South Africa: many are based in British Council offices or accredited schools. The former are listed below.

NOTE: Venues cater for paper-based exams only, except for JHB and CT venues that also cater for practical components.

Remember that exam fees are NOT included in COLLS subscription per subject costs and you are required to register with a British Council examination center (or other accredited center) in time in order to avoid paying penalties for late exam entries. Fees for exams can vary from ZAR800 to ZAR1700 per subject.
